Free Sweat Testing for Local Endurance Athletes

TriHarder Multisports LLC will be conducting free sweat testing from 11am to 6pm on August 5-7 and 12-14 for Austin-area triathletes and cyclists. Athletes will be tested on their own bicycles which will be mounted on stationary trainers. Athlete sweat rate and sweat sodium losses will be provided in an email following the test.

Dilloman registration is up and running!

The 4th Annual Austin Triathletes Dilloman Triathlon consists of an 800 meter swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run. The event will take place Sunday, September 11, 2005 at Pace Bend Park on Lake Travis. Race starts at 7:30am.

Cycling Legislation

SB 859 or the “Safe Passing Bill” is extremely important legislation that will require motorists to move to the left lane when overtaking cyclists, or slow to 30mph and pass with at least 3 feet between car and rider (6 feet for commercial vehicles).
